For any questions concerning data protection or to exercise your rights, you may contact us at the address above.
2. Principles
We process personal data lawfully, in good faith, and in a proportionate manner. We collect personal data only for purposes that are clearly identified and apparent to you, and we retain it only for as long as is necessary for those purposes or as required by law.
3. Categories of data we process
3.1 Server and log data
This website is hosted by Framer (see Section 5). When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical information that your browser transmits, in particular your IP address, the type and version of your browser and operating system, the date and time of access, the pages requested, and the website from which you arrived. This data is processed in order to deliver the website to your device, ensure its stability and security, and prevent misuse.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3.2 Analytics
We use Framer's built-in analytics to understand, on an aggregated basis, how this website is used (for example, the number of visitors, page views, referring sources, and the countries and device types of visitors).
Framer Analytics is privacy-friendly by design: it does not use cookies, does not create persistent identifiers, and does not collect or store information that identifies you as an individual. Unique visitors are estimated by hashing the IP address and browser information with a secret that is rotated and deleted daily. The resulting statistics are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you.
Because no personal data is collected and no cookies are used, this analytics does not require your consent.
3.3 Contact form
If you contact us through the contact form on this website, we process the data you provide — typically your name, your email address, and the content of your message — for the sole purpose of receiving and responding to your enquiry. Submissions are forwarded directly to our email inbox.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for this processing is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR); insofar as you voluntarily provide further personal data, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
We retain enquiries only for as long as is necessary to handle your request and any related follow-up, after which the data is deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
4. Cookies
This website does not use tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies. Framer Analytics operates without cookies, as described above. Only strictly necessary technical storage that is essential for the website to function correctly may be used. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is displayed.
Should we introduce third-party services in the future that set non-essential cookies or carry out tracking (for example, Google Analytics, embedded videos, or marketing pixels), we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent through a cookie banner before such services are activated.
5. Service providers and recipients
This website is built and hosted on the Framer platform, operated by Framer B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In providing the hosting service and the contact form and analytics functions, Framer processes personal data on our behalf as our processor, under a data processing agreement and subject to recognised security standards (including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification).
Framer's own privacy statement is available at https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement, and information on its sub-processors and data transfers can be found at https://trust.framer.com.
5.2 Email and domain provider
Enquiries submitted through the contact form are delivered to our email mailbox, which is operated by our email and domain provider, ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (owner: René Münnich), Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. In this capacity, the provider processes the personal data contained in your enquiry on our behalf as a recipient. Its servers are located in Germany, within the European Economic Area.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties other than the service providers described above or where we are required to do so by law.
6. Transfers abroad
As a result of using the providers described in Section 5, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including the United States, where certain servers or sub-processors are located.
Such transfers take place only where the recipient country provides an adequate level of data protection, or where appropriate safeguards are in place — in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with any additional measures required under the FADP and the GDPR. Further information on the safeguards applied is available from us on request.
7. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, and disclosure. Please note, however, that the transmission of data over the internet can never be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limitations set out in applicable law, you have the right to:
obtain information about whether and which personal data we process about you (right of access);
request that inaccurate personal data be corrected (right to rectification);
request that your personal data be deleted (right to erasure);
object to certain processing of your personal data; and
withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, with effect for the future.
Where the GDPR applies, you additionally have the right to request the restriction of processing and the right to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at mail@colinmeyer.ch. We may need to verify your identity before responding. The exercise of these rights is, in principle, free of charge.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, Switzerland (https://www.edoeb.admin.ch).
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
10. Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, our service providers, or the applicable law. The version published on this website at the time of your visit applies.
